Zhejiang China Commodities City Group elects Wang Xiangrong as employee director

Zhejiang China Commodities City Group Co., Ltd. announced the election of Wang Xiangrong as an employee representative director to its ninth board of directors. This appointment, effective from the approval date by the employee representative congress until the expiration of the ninth board's term, aims to enhance the company's governance structure and ensure the board's smooth operation in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The decision was made following a vote at a recent employee representative congress.

Wang Xiangrong, born in August 1983, brings a wealth of experience to the role. His career within the company includes serving as the general manager of the international production materials market branch from December 2019 to October 2020. He then held the position of deputy head of the market operations company preparatory group from October to December 2020, before assuming his current role as general manager of the market operations branch since December 2020.

The company confirmed that Wang meets the qualifications for an employee representative director as stipulated by the Company Law and the company's articles of association. He does not hold any company shares, nor does he have any affiliated interests with shareholders holding 5% or more of the company's shares, other directors, or senior management. This election ensures that the number of directors who are also senior management or employee representatives does not exceed one-half of the total board members.
