Hainan Airlines guarantees Urumqi Air's aircraft lease up to RMB35m yuan

Hainan Airlines Holding Co., Ltd. (HNA Holdings) has provided an irrevocable joint and several liability guarantee for its controlled subsidiary, Urumqi Air, relating to an operating lease for a B737-800 aircraft. The maximum guarantee amount is RMB35,357.85万元. This guarantee falls within the previously approved 2025 inter-guarantee quota.

As of the announcement date, the cumulative outstanding guarantees provided by HNA Holdings and its controlled subsidiaries amount to RMB259,847.36万元. This figure represents 114.32% of the company's net assets attributable to shareholders as of the latest audited period in 2024. Urumqi Air has provided counter-guarantees to HNA Holdings, and there are no overdue external guarantees.

The guarantee is considered necessary for the subsidiary's aircraft acquisition and is extended to an entity with an asset-liability ratio exceeding 70%. Urumqi Air reported total assets of RMB231,823.50万元 and total liabilities of RMB426,906.54万元 as of December 31, 2024.
