Baosight Software reports significant profit, revenue declines in Q3

Shanghai Baosight Software Co., Ltd. reported a significant decrease in its financial results for the third quarter and first nine months of 2025. For the third quarter, the company's operating revenue fell by 22.43% to 2,337,718,183.15 yuan, with total profit experiencing a sharper decline of 33.63% to 414,697,308.40 yuan. Net profit attributable to shareholders decreased by 35.73% to 385,259,957.19 yuan, and basic earnings per share dropped by 36.02% to 0.135 yuan.

The year-to-date figures through September 30, 2025, also reflect this challenging trend. Operating revenue decreased by 27.72% to 7,052,425,263.03 yuan, while total profit plummeted by 42.81% to 1,226,447,646.10 yuan. Net profit attributable to shareholders saw a 43.13% reduction, totaling 1,097,785,019.30 yuan, and basic earnings per share were 0.385 yuan, down 43.38% from the previous year.

The company attributed the declines to long-term structural adjustments in the steel industry, leading to reduced demand for informatization and automation solutions. Additionally, client cost-control pressures impacted contract gross profit margins.
