Greenland Holdings unveils new projects amidst rising legal disputes

Greenland Holdings Corporation announced 5.164 billion yuan in new major infrastructure and housing construction projects. Notable projects include EPC contracts for Hainan Haikou International Education City, a bauxite project in Guizhou, and a digital intelligence industrial park in Henan. The company also secured new infrastructure contracts, such as the Hubei Huyi Expressway expansion and a 70MW wind farm in Henan.

Concurrently, Greenland Holdings reported a substantial increase in legal proceedings, with 1,344 new lawsuits totaling 6.381 billion yuan from October 1-20, 2025. Of these, 1,278 cases, amounting to 5.894 billion yuan, are against the company, primarily involving construction, real estate, and other disputes. The company is actively managing these cases with dedicated teams to mitigate operational impact.

Operationally, the real estate segment saw no new project starts but completed 1.576 million square meters of floor space in Q3 2025, a 31.18% decrease year-over-year. Sales decreased by 7.96% to 1.643 million square meters, with sales value down 16.30% to 13.745 billion yuan. The infrastructure division reported 2.231 billion yuan in new project value for Q3, a 17.67% decrease compared to the previous year.
