Sokon Group announces 2025 semi-annual cash dividend

Sokon Group has announced its 2025 semi-annual equity distribution, with a cash dividend of 0.31 yuan per share (inclusive of tax) for A-share holders. The total cash dividend to be distributed amounts to 506,343,486.66 yuan, based on the company's total share capital of 1,633,366,086 shares. The distribution was approved at the company's second extraordinary general meeting on October 15, 2025.

The equity registration date for the dividend is October 29, 2025, with the ex-dividend and cash dividend payment date set for October 30, 2025. Dividends for shares held by Chongqing Sokon Holdings Co., Ltd., Chongqing Yu'an Automobile Industry Co., Ltd., and Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. will be distributed directly by the company.

For other A-share holders, the dividend will be distributed through China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch. Tax implications vary by shareholder type and holding period. For instance, qualified foreign institutional investors (QFII) and Hong Kong market investors will have a 10% tax withheld, resulting in a net cash dividend of 0.279 yuan per share. Natural persons holding shares for over one year will be exempt from personal income tax on dividends.
