Dahu Aquaculture proposes name change to Dahu Health Industry

Dahu Aquaculture Co., Ltd. is proposing a change of its full company name to "Dahu Health Industry Co., Ltd." and a corresponding adjustment to its business scope, along with revisions to its Articles of Association. This proposal was approved by the Ninth Board of Directors at its Nineteenth Meeting on October 10, 2025, and will be submitted for approval at the Third Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting on October 27, 2025.

The strategic shift is driven by a change in business focus, as the traditional aquaculture segment, particularly large-surface area farming, has decreased significantly. Large-surface area farming (including live fish and live hairy crabs, excluding live soft-shelled turtles) accounted for only 14.72% of total operating revenue in 2024, with live fish sales at 7.14%. For the first half of 2025, this segment's contribution further declined to 3.63% of operating revenue.

Conversely, medical and processed aquatic product businesses have seen increased contributions. In 2024, medical business revenue constituted 36.87%, while processed aquatic products accounted for 29.93%. By the first half of 2025, medical business revenue rose to 42.99% and processed aquatic products to 42.13%. The proposed changes align the company's name and business scope with its evolving "health products + health medical" development strategy.
