China Communications Construction reports robust Q3 contract growth

China Communications Construction Company recorded a total new contract value of 13,399.70 billion yuan for the first three quarters of 2025, representing a 4.65% year-on-year increase and achieving 67% of its annual target. The infrastructure construction business segment led with 12,224.40 billion yuan in new contracts, while infrastructure design business and dredging business contributed 304.30 billion yuan and 788.33 billion yuan respectively.

Domestic contracts accounted for 10,559.12 billion yuan, growing 4.00%, while overseas contracts surged by 7.13% to 2,840.58 billion yuan. The company's push into emerging business areas yielded strong results, with new contracts in sectors such as energy engineering and environmental protection totaling 4,663.79 billion yuan, up 9.38%.

Infrastructure investment projects saw a confirmed contract value of 765.84 billion yuan, a decrease of 5.33%, with an estimated 600.50 billion yuan in potential construction and design contracts for the company. Major contracts signed during July-September 2025 include projects in Jiangxi, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, highlighting continued activity across various infrastructure categories.
