Ganyue Expressway subsidiary signs EV charging alliance with CATL unit

Jiangxi Ganyue Expressway Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangxi Ganyue Industrial Development Co., Ltd., has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Contemporary Qijun New Energy Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. This framework agreement focuses on developing the new energy heavy-duty truck battery swap market within highway service areas in Jiangxi Province.

The collaboration aims to provide quick battery replacement services, address energy replenishment challenges and range anxiety for electric heavy-duty trucks, and establish a comprehensive battery swap corridor. The goal is to create a robust battery swap infrastructure that is well-located, fully functional, stable, and secure.

Contemporary Qijun, established on September 20, 2023, is a subsidiary of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL). The agreement has a term of three years from its effective date. This strategic partnership is a framework agreement and does not involve specific transaction amounts, nor is it expected to impact the company's main business or financial results for 2025. Future impacts depend on the progression of specific projects, introducing significant uncertainty.
