China Shenhua brings all Jiujiang Phase II units online

China Shenhua Energy Company Limited announced that Unit 4 of its Jiujiang Phase II expansion project has successfully completed its 168-hour continuous full-load trial operation and commenced commercial operation. With this achievement, all two 1,000 MW ultra-supercritical re-heat coal-fired generating units of the Jiujiang Phase II project are now fully built and operational.

The Jiujiang Phase II project, located in Liusi Town, Hukou County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, is a major "14th Five-Year Plan" project and a supportive clean coal power initiative for Jiangxi Province. During the trial, the unit demonstrated stable operation, excellent environmental performance, and achieved ultra-low emission standards for dust, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides.

The full operation of Jiujiang Phase II will provide a strong guarantee for energy security in Jiangxi Province and the broader Central China region, while also stimulating regional socio-economic development. This marks a significant advancement for China Shenhua Energy and its contribution to the nation's energy infrastructure.
