Orient Securities to issue differentiated interim dividend for 2025

Orient Securities Company Limited will implement a differentiated interim cash dividend for 2025. The company’s sixth board of directors approved the 2025 interim profit distribution plan on August 29, 2025. This follows authorization from the 2024 annual general meeting on May 23, 2025, to formulate the plan based on profitability, capital status, and risk control indicators, with a cash dividend ratio not exceeding 30% of net profit attributable to parent company shareholders.

The distribution will be RMB 0.12 per share (tax included) to A-share and H-share shareholders registered by the equity registration date. A total of 61,546,481 A-shares held in the company's dedicated buyback account will not participate in this distribution, leading to a special differentiated ex-dividend and ex-interest treatment. The actual number of A-shares participating in the distribution is 7,407,936,383, out of a total A-share capital of 7,469,482,864 shares, resulting in a total cash dividend of RMB 1,012,211,857.32.

The ex-dividend and ex-interest reference price will be calculated using a special formula. For A-share holders, the actual distributed cash dividend is RMB 0.12 per share, while the virtual distributed cash dividend for A-shares is approximately RMB 0.1190 per share. The absolute impact of this differentiated distribution on the A-share ex-dividend and ex-interest reference price is approximately 0.0096%, which is considered minor. The equity registration date for A-shares is October 27, 2025, with the ex-dividend date and cash dividend payment date on October 28, 2025.
