Huayou Cobalt reports strong third quarter revenue, profit growth

Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt reported a robust performance for the first nine months of 2025, with operating revenue reaching CNY 58,940,761,142.15, marking a 29.57% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Profit attributable to shareholders saw a substantial rise of 39.59% to CNY 4,216,211,146.73. Basic earnings per share for the nine-month period were CNY 2.49, up 38.33% from the previous year.

For the third quarter alone, operating revenue surged by 40.85% to CNY 21,744,247,029.37, while total profit increased by 39.23% to CNY 2,044,158,581.30. Net profit attributable to shareholders for the quarter was CNY 1,505,275,038.20, representing an 11.53% increase. The company attributed the growth primarily to increased product sales and the sustained release of advantages from its integrated industrial operations, coupled with the recovery in cobalt metal prices.

As of September 30, 2025, total assets stood at CNY 148,854,711,443.88, an 8.98% increase from the end of 2024. Net assets attributable to shareholders amounted to CNY 47,698,697,730.61, up 29.11% year-to-date. Net cash flow from operating activities for the first nine months was CNY 4,179,261,763.33, an 8.84% increase.
