Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to revise articles, appoint new auditor

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Company Limited announced its board and supervisory committee approved revisions to its Articles of Association, Shareholder Meeting Rules, Board Meeting Rules, and Independent Director Work System. These changes will eliminate the supervisory committee and its members, with its functions transferred to the board of directors' audit committee. The revisions will be submitted for shareholder approval.

Additionally, the company is proposing a change in its accounting firm for the 2025 fiscal year. After nine years with BDO China Shu Lun Pan Certified Public Accountants LLP, the company plans to appoint Grant Thornton China as its new auditor, pending shareholder approval. This decision follows an open bidding process and a review by the audit committee, which confirmed Grant Thornton China's professional competence and independence. Both the former and proposed accounting firms have confirmed their awareness and agreement regarding this transition.
