Founder Securities announces 2025 interim cash dividend distribution

Founder Securities Co., Ltd. (SSE:601901) has announced the implementation of its 2025 semi-annual equity distribution, with a cash dividend of 0.061 yuan per share (including tax) for A-share holders. This distribution totals 502,158,185.10 yuan, based on a total share capital of 8,232,101,395 shares. The company's 2024 annual general meeting authorized the board to determine the 2025 mid-year distribution, with a total amount not less than 395m yuan and a distribution ratio not exceeding 50% of the net profit attributable to shareholders for the corresponding period. The distribution plan was subsequently approved by the Fifth Board of Directors at its seventeenth meeting on August 29, 2025.

The key dates for the distribution are set with the equity registration date on October 23, 2025. The ex-dividend date and cash dividend payment date are both scheduled for October 24, 2025. Shareholders registered with China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch by the close of business on the equity registration date will be eligible for the dividend.

Tax implications vary for different investor types. Natural person shareholders and investment funds holding shares for over one year are exempt from individual income tax on the dividend. For holdings under one year, the tax treatment will depend on the holding period, with a 20% actual tax burden for holdings within one month and 10% for holdings between one month and one year. Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFIIs) will have a 10% corporate income tax withheld, resulting in a net cash dividend of 0.0549 yuan per share. Hong Kong market investors will also have a 10% tax withheld, leading to a net cash dividend of 0.0549 yuan per share.
