Liaoning SG Automotive sees mixed production and sales in September

Liaoning SG Automotive Group's September 2025 production report shows a 30.04% decrease in total vehicle production compared to last year, with 163 units produced. This was driven primarily by a 37.55% drop in pickup truck production. However, special purpose vehicle production surged by 350.00% to 18 units. New energy passenger vehicle production remained at zero units for the month.

Sales figures also presented a mixed picture. Total vehicle sales in September decreased by 68.31% year-on-year to 109 units, mainly due to a significant 73.75% decline in pickup truck sales. Conversely, new energy passenger vehicle sales saw a 100.00% increase to 2 units, and special purpose vehicle sales mirrored production with a 350.00% increase to 18 units.

In the automotive parts segment, axle production increased by 12.19% to 116,594 units in September, while sales rose by 19.30% to 103,929 units. Notably, new energy axle production soared by 31.17% to 78,551 units, and new energy axle sales surged by 60.30% to 70,196 units compared to the previous year.
