Methanol production also surged, up 36.4% in September to 16.1 ten thousand tonnes and 21.8% year-to-date to 147.8 ten thousand tonnes.
However, ammonium nitrate production declined by 23.5% in September to 3.9 ten thousand tonnes. Polyethylene and polypropylene production remained stable for the month, with cumulative figures showing slight decreases. The coal mining equipment business recorded a September production value of RMB 8.1 hundred million, a 2.5% increase year-on-year, though year-to-date figures decreased by 6.6%.
