China Animal Husbandry secures registration for new swine vaccine

China Animal Husbandry Industry Co., Ltd. has received a new veterinary drug registration certificate for its Porcine Senecavirus A inactivated vaccine (HuN-1/2017 strain, suspension culture). The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China approved the vaccine, assigning it certificate number (2025) New Veterinary Drug Certificate No. 117, with a monitoring period of four years. The vaccine is a Class II new veterinary drug and contains inactivated Porcine Senecavirus A HuN-1/2017 strain, with a pre-inactivation virus content of 10^8 TCID50/ml.

The vaccine is intended for the prevention of Porcine Senecavirus A disease, with immunity developing 14 days after the second vaccination and lasting for six months. The company noted it has not been able to obtain specific sales data for similar products in the domestic market through public channels.

This approval is expected to enrich China Animal Husbandry Industry's product portfolio and enhance its market competitiveness. The company will proceed with the application for a product approval number, which is required before the new veterinary drug can be listed for sale.
