Shaanxi Coal sees mixed production data for September

Shaanxi Coal Industry Company Limited announced its major operating data for September 2025. In the coal segment, raw coal output for September 2025 reached 14.56m tons, a 5.34% year-over-year increase. Cumulative raw coal output for 2025 stood at 130.38m tons, up 2.04% from the same period of 2024. Self-produced coal sales for September 2025 were 12.62m tons, a modest 0.72% increase year-over-year, with cumulative sales at 119.38m tons, up 1.83% from 2024.

Conversely, the power generation segment experienced a decline. Total power generation for September 2025 was 3.65bn kilowatt-hours, down 4.32% from September 2024. Cumulative total power generation for 2025 reached 31.55bn kilowatt-hours, a 2.78% decrease from 2024. Similarly, total power sales for September 2025 decreased by 5.64% to 3.44bn kilowatt-hours, and cumulative power sales for the year fell by 1.95% to 29.60bn kilowatt-hours.
