JAC motors reports mixed september production and sales figures

Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co. Ltd. (JAC Motors) announced its production and sales figures for September 2025. Total production for the month reached 33,255 units, a 15.75% decrease compared to September last year, bringing the year-to-date cumulative production to 281,040 units, down 10.53% year-on-year. Production of new energy passenger vehicles increased by 10.75% to 3,679 units for the month, with a cumulative figure of 16,503 units, though this is a 10.26% decline year-on-year.

In terms of sales, JAC Motors sold 33,455 units in September, a 15.50% decrease from the same period last year. Year-to-date sales totaled 281,713 units, representing a 10.66% decrease compared to the previous year. New energy passenger vehicle sales saw a significant rise of 18.69% in September to 3,613 units, but the year-to-date sales for this category are down 25.64% to 16,043 units.

Passenger vehicle production and sales experienced notable shifts. SUV production fell by 41.43% monthly and 14.11% year-to-date, while MPV production surged by 107.91% monthly and 16.87% year-to-date. Commercial vehicles also showed diverse performance, with truck production increasing by 35.89% in September, while multi-purpose commercial vehicle production dropped by 54.80%. Overall, the report indicates a challenging period for total production and sales, despite some growth in specific segments like new energy passenger vehicle sales and MPV production for the month.
