Seres Group partners with Volcengine on embodied AI development for auto industry

Seres Group Co., Ltd., through its subsidiary Chongqing Fenghuang Technology Co., Ltd. (Seres Fenghuang), announced the signing of an "Embodied Intelligent Business Cooperation Framework Agreement" with Beijing Volcengine Technology Co., Ltd. (Volcengine) on October 9, 2025. This framework agreement aims to foster joint research and scenario validation in multi-modal cloud-edge collaborative intelligent robot decision-making, control, and human-machine enhancement technologies. The collaboration seeks to create an AI-plus embodied intelligence that is emotional, smarter, safer, and more trustworthy.

Volcengine will leverage its expertise in language, vision, multi-modal, and general AI models to provide intelligent algorithms and computational support. Seres Fenghuang will utilize its industry advantages to drive the industrial application of AI, aiming for commercialization and scale of embodied intelligence in line with the company's long-term development strategy.

The agreement is a framework document, with specific projects to be detailed in subsequent agreements. As such, it does not involve specific monetary amounts and the signing is not expected to significantly impact Seres Group's financial position or operating results for the 2025 fiscal year.
