SAIC Motor reports strong september production and sales growth

SAIC Motor Corporation Limited announced its September 2025 production and sales flash report, highlighting a robust performance. The company's total vehicle production reached 457,918 units, a 35.99% increase compared to September of the previous year. Cumulative year-to-date production also saw a substantial rise of 24.28% to 3,292,451 units. New energy vehicle production surged by 35.16% in September to 192,137 units.

In terms of sales, SAIC Motor sold 439,777 vehicles in September 2025, representing a 40.39% increase from the same period last year. Year-to-date cumulative sales reached 3,193,270 units, up 20.53%. Notably, new energy vehicle sales in September grew by 46.54% to 189,498 units.

Several subsidiaries contributed to this growth, with SAIC General Motors experiencing a 126.54% increase in September production and 124.38% increase in sales. SAIC-GM-Wuling also demonstrated strong performance with September production up 35.24% and sales up 43.92%.
