Huaxin Cement to rebrand as Huaxin Building Materials Group

Huaxin Cement Co., Ltd. is proposing to change its Chinese name to "Huaxin Building Materials Group Co., Ltd." and its English name to "HUAXIN BUILDING MATERIALS GROUP CO., LTD.". The A-share abbreviation will also change from "Huaxin Cement" to "Huaxin Building Materials".

This decision aims to better align the company's name with its diversified business operations, which now encompass concrete, aggregates, environmental protection, equipment manufacturing, and new building materials, in addition to its traditional cement business. The proposed changes will be put to a vote at the third extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on October 24, 2025.

Since its 1993 restructuring, Huaxin Cement has evolved from a regional cement producer into a global building materials group with operations in 17 provinces/cities/autonomous regions and 20 overseas countries, managing over 300 subsidiaries. The current name, containing "Cement," no longer fully represents the company's extensive business types and integrated value chain.

The company's A-share stock code (600801) and H-share stock code (06655) will remain unchanged, and the rebrand will not affect existing shareholder rights or daily operations. This strategic rebranding is expected to enhance brand value, clarify market positioning, and provide better support for its various product lines, including "Huaxin Aggregates" and "Huaxin Concrete."
