MicroPort Endovascular names new board secretary, former secretary steps down

Shanghai MicroPort Endovascular MedTech announced the resignation of Qiu Genyong from his roles as deputy general manager and board secretary due to personal reasons, effective immediately. Mr. Qiu will no longer hold any positions within the company. Concurrently, the board of directors approved the appointment of Yan Dongmei as the new board secretary. Ms. Yan will serve until the end of the third session of the board. Director and general manager Zhu Qing will temporarily act as board secretary until Ms. Yan obtains her required training certificate for the STAR Market.

Ms. Yan, born in 1986, holds a master's degree and possesses CFA and ESG investment certifications. She has served in various roles, including R&D engineer, R&D project manager, and business development manager, before becoming the director of strategic planning and business development. Ms. Yan does not hold any company shares and has no related party relationship with controlling shareholders or other directors and senior management.

In a related development, the company will purchase director and officer (D&O) liability insurance. The proposed insurance, with a maximum coverage of 50m yuan per year and an annual premium budget not exceeding 300,000 yuan, will cover the company, its directors, and senior management for a 12-month period. This proposal will be submitted to the shareholders' meeting for approval.
