Hisense Visual Technology to appoint two new directors in October

Hisense Visual Technology Co., Ltd. is scheduled to hold its first extraordinary general meeting of shareholders for 2025 on October 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The meeting, to be held at Hisense International Centre A Tower in Qingdao, Shandong, will address the resignation of two directors and the subsequent election of their replacements.

The agenda includes the approval of two key resolutions: the election of Mr. Yan Qun as an independent director and Ms. Fang Xueyu as a non-independent director. Mr. Yan Qun, a distinguished professor and expert in Micro LED technology, will replace Mr. Ding Wenhua, who resigned due to personal reasons. Ms. Fang Xueyu, an experienced executive within the Hisense group, will fill the non-independent director position vacated by Mr. Liu Xin, who resigned due to work adjustments. Both proposed directors will serve until the expiry of the tenth board of directors' term.

The board changes aim to ensure stable and compliant operations following the resignations. Shareholders will have the opportunity to vote on these proposals both in person and via online voting channels provided by the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
