CITIC Bank appoints Jin Xinian as new risk director

China CITIC Bank Corp (SSE:601998) announced on September 28, 2025, the appointment of Jin Xinian as the company's new risk director, effective upon regulatory approval of his qualifications. The board of directors unanimously approved this resolution. The bank's independent directors also expressed their independent agreement with the appointment.

Jin Xinian, born in March 1971, brings extensive banking experience, having served as deputy governor of CITIC Bank since August 2025 and as a member of the bank's party committee since April 2025. His career includes leadership roles at CITIC Bank in investment banking, corporate banking, and as president of the Guangzhou branch, following prior positions at Agricultural Bank of China.

Concurrently, Hu Gang has resigned from his role as risk director due to work arrangements, effective September 28, 2025. He will continue to serve as an executive director, deputy governor, and other capacities within CITIC Bank and its subsidiary, CITIC Bank (International) Limited. Hu Gang confirmed no disagreements with the board or senior management regarding his resignation.
