Shenzhen Gas announces new director, upcoming shareholder meetings

Shenzhen Gas Corp. has announced that Mr. Ji Weiyi has resigned from his positions as director and member of the nomination committee due to work adjustments. The board has nominated Mr. Yang Jun as a new director candidate, effective from his approval by shareholders at the 2025 third extraordinary general meeting. Mr. Yang Jun, born in June 1969, holds an MBA and has 30 years in the gas industry, currently serving as COO of Hong Kong and China Gas’s operations.

The company will hold its third extraordinary general meeting on October 28, 2025, to vote on Mr. Yang Jun's directorship. Concurrently, Shenzhen Gas will host a half-year performance briefing on October 17, 2025, to discuss its operational and financial results for the first half of the year. This briefing will be accessible online via the Shanghai Stock Exchange Roadshow Center.

In other board resolutions, the fifth board of directors' thirty-eighth extraordinary meeting on September 26, 2025, approved the appointment of Mr. Zhang Wenhe as chief legal officer and chief compliance officer, effective immediately. The board also resolved to abolish the supervisory committee office and revise the implementation rules of the audit committee, aligning with new regulatory requirements.
