China Avionics Systems elects director, extends key project

China Avionics Systems announced the election of Liu Dongxing as a non-independent director, following approval by its board of directors on September 26, 2025. Liu, born in September 1977, holds a master's degree and is a senior accountant, currently serving as the chief accountant for China Avionics Systems. His appointment is pending shareholder approval and will be effective until the expiration of the current board's term.

Additionally, the company has decided to extend the "Research and Production Capacity Building Project for Aviation Industry Fenglei Fire Initiators and Other Airborne Products." The project's completion date has been adjusted from October 2025 to October 2026. This extension, approved by the board on September 26, 2025, is due to the company's digital transformation efforts and does not alter the investment content, implementing entity, or method of the original fundraising project.

The board also clarified that the fundraising for this project, totaling RMB 4,965,249,915.58, was fully in place by June 26, 2023. This adjustment in project timeline is a prudent decision by the company and has been reviewed by independent financial advisors, who found no issues.
