Wanhua Chemical shareholder releases a significant equity pledge

Yantai Zhongcheng Investment Co., Ltd., a shareholder holding over 5% of Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. shares, has released a pledge on 8,000,000 shares. This transaction represents 2.42% of Yantai Zhongcheng Investment's total holdings and 0.26% of Wanhua Chemical's total share capital. The pledge release was completed on September 23, 2025.

Prior to this release, Yantai Zhongcheng Investment held 330,379,594 shares, accounting for 10.55% of Wanhua Chemical's total share capital. Following the completion of this share pledge release, Yantai Zhongcheng Investment's cumulative pledged shares now stand at 73,000,000 shares.

This remaining pledged amount constitutes 22.10% of Yantai Zhongcheng Investment's total holdings and 2.33% of Wanhua Chemical's total share capital. The company confirmed that the released shares are not intended for subsequent re-pledging.
