Great Wall Motor announces joint company secretary’s resignation

Great Wall Motor Company Limited ("the Company") has confirmed that Ms. Wu Jiawen ("Ms. Wu") has resigned from her position as joint company secretary, effective September 22, 2025. This follows an announcement dated September 23, 2022, regarding the appointment of Ms. Li Hongshuan ("Ms. Li") and Ms. Wu as joint company secretaries. Ms. Wu's resignation coincides with the expiration of a waiver from The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited ("the Stock Exchange"), which was granted under Rules 3.28 and 8.17 of the Listing Rules and was valid until September 22, 2025.

Following Ms. Wu's departure, Ms. Li will continue as the sole company secretary for Great Wall Motor. The board of directors ("the Board") has announced that the Stock Exchange has confirmed Ms. Li meets the qualification requirements under Rule 3.28 of the Listing Rules to serve as the company secretary.

Ms. Wu has confirmed to the Board that there are no disagreements between her and the Board, and no other matters concerning her resignation need to be brought to the attention of the Stock Exchange or the Company's shareholders. The Board expressed its gratitude to Ms. Wu for her valuable contributions during her tenure.
