Huadian Power International boosts capital in hydropower joint venture

Huadian Power International Corporation has formally signed an agreement to increase the registered capital of Huadian Jinshajiang Upstream Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. (Huadian Jinshang) by RMB 5 billion. This follows the company's related party transaction announcement on August 28, 2025.

Under the agreement, Huadian Power International will contribute RMB 600 million, maintaining its 12% equity stake in Huadian Jinshang. Post-increase, Huadian Jinshang's registered capital will reach RMB 15 billion, with all existing shareholders contributing proportionally.

The capital increase agreement was approved by the company's Tenth Board of Directors at its twenty-fifth meeting and received the consent of independent directors.
