Tiantan Biological announces interim cash dividend distribution for 2025

Beijing Tiantan Biological Products Corp. has announced its 2025 semi-annual cash dividend distribution, with an entitlement date set for September 24, 2025, and cash dividends to be distributed on September 25, 2025. The company will issue a cash dividend of CNY 0.15 per share (inclusive of tax) for the 2025 half-year, based on a total share capital of 1,977,371,446 shares. This will result in a total cash dividend distribution of CNY 296,605,716.90 (inclusive of tax). The dividend distribution was approved by the company's 2024 Annual General Meeting on May 27, 2025, and further approved by the Ninth Board of Directors on August 20, 2025.

The distribution will be handled by China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch for most unrestricted tradable shares. Specified shareholders, including China National Biotec Group Co., Ltd., Chengdu Institute of Biological Products Co., Ltd., and Beijing Institute of Biological Products Co., Ltd., will receive their dividends directly from the company.

Tax implications vary by investor type. For individual shareholders holding shares for over one year, dividends are temporarily exempt from individual income tax. Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFII) and Hong Kong Stock Connect investors will have a 10% withholding tax applied, resulting in a net dividend of CNY 0.135 per share. Other institutional and corporate shareholders are required to manage their own corporate income tax obligations, receiving the full pre-tax dividend of CNY 0.15 per share.
