COSCO SHIPPING Development declares interim cash dividend

COSCO SHIPPING Development Co., Ltd. has announced the implementation of its equity distribution plan for the first half of 2025. The company will distribute a cash dividend of CNY 0.022 per share (including tax) to A-shareholders, based on a total share capital of 13,197,655,820 shares. The total cash dividend payout will be CNY 290,348,428.04.

The record date for A-shares is set for September 25, 2025, with the ex-dividend date and cash dividend payment date both scheduled for September 26, 2025. This distribution follows authorization granted by the company's 2024 annual general meeting on June 26, 2025, and subsequent approval by the seventh board of directors' thirtieth meeting held on August 29, 2025.

For natural person shareholders and investment funds holding A-shares, different tax treatments apply based on the holding period, in accordance with relevant tax regulations. Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFII) and Renminbi Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (RQFII) will have a 10% withholding tax deducted, resulting in a net cash dividend of CNY 0.0198 per share. Hong Kong Stock Connect shareholders will also face a 10% withholding tax.
