Buchang Pharmaceuticals to hold performance briefing, independent director resigns

Shandong Buchang Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. will host a 2025 semi-annual performance briefing on September 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Beijing time) via the Shanghai Stock Exchange Roadshow Center. This online Q&A session will allow investors to discuss the company's financial performance following its 2025 semi-annual report released on August 28, 2025.

In a separate announcement, the company disclosed the resignation of independent director Ms. Cheng Hua, effective upon the election of a new independent director. Citing personal reasons, Ms. Cheng has stepped down from her roles on the board and its specialized committees, including the Audit, Nomination, and Remuneration and Appraisal committees. She currently holds no company shares.

The company acknowledged that Ms. Cheng's departure will temporarily reduce the number of independent directors below the required one-third of the board. Shandong Buchang Pharmaceuticals will promptly initiate the process to elect a new independent director, whose qualifications will be subject to regulatory approval, to ensure compliance with governance requirements.
