Lingyuan Iron & Steel elects new employee representative director Liu Zhengdong

Lingyuan Iron & Steel Company Limited announced the election of Mr. Liu Zhengdong as an employee representative director for the company's ninth board of directors. The election took place at an employee representative meeting held on September 12, 2025. Mr. Liu's term will commence from the date of his election and will run until the expiration of the ninth board of directors' term. His appointment is in compliance with the "Company Law of the People's Republic of China" and the company's articles of association.

Mr. Liu Zhengdong, aged 55, is a Party member with a university degree and holds the title of senior legal counsel. He previously served as deputy director of the office of Anshan Iron and Steel Group Mining Company and deputy general manager of Anshan Iron and Steel Group Mining Company. His recent roles include deputy Party secretary, chairman of the labor union, and employee director of Lingyuan Iron and Steel Group Company Limited, as well as deputy Party secretary and chairman of the labor union of Lingyuan Iron & Steel Company Limited.

Currently, Mr. Liu Zhengdong holds 550,000 shares of the company's A-share restricted stock. The company confirmed that his election ensures that the number of directors concurrently holding senior management positions and directors serving as employee representatives does not exceed one-half of the total number of directors, aligning with relevant laws, regulations, and normative documents. He has no related party relationships with other directors, senior management, actual controllers, or shareholders holding 5% or more of the company's shares.
