Baiyun Airport sees strong growth in August passenger and flight data

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Co., Ltd. announced its August 2025 production and operation data. For August, the airport handled 48,164 aircraft movements, a 5.96% increase year-on-year, bringing the cumulative figure to 362,386 movements, up 7.00%.

Passenger throughput for the month reached 7,338,365 person-times, a 4.33% rise, with the cumulative total at 54,497,274 person-times, an 8.16% increase. International routes showed particularly strong growth, with movements up 9.47% for the month and 15.00% cumulatively, while international passenger traffic surged by 14.08% monthly and 21.21% year-to-date.

Cargo and mail throughput for August was 201,966.25 tons, marking a 1.59% increase over the previous year, with the cumulative figure standing at 1,578,017.34 tons, up 2.16%. Domestic cargo saw a monthly increase of 4.21% and a cumulative increase of 9.15%.
