Shaanxi Coal sees August output and sales rise across coal and power segments

Shaanxi Coal Industry Co., Ltd. announced an increase in coal production and sales for August 2025 compared to the same period last year. Coal output for August 2025 reached 1,430.48 ten thousand tonnes, a 5.27% increase year-over-year. Cumulative coal production for the year to August was 11,582.48 ten thousand tonnes, up 1.64%. Self-produced coal sales in August 2025 were 1,289.95 ten thousand tonnes, an increase of 4.54% from August 2024. Year-to-date self-produced coal sales totaled 10,675.95 ten thousand tonnes, marking a 1.96% rise.

The company's power generation segment also experienced growth. Total electricity generation for August 2025 was 52.39 hundred million kilowatt-hours, representing a substantial 15.30% increase from August 2024. Total electricity sales for the month reached 49.20 hundred million kilowatt-hours, up 17.74% year-over-year. However, the cumulative total electricity generation for the year decreased by 2.57% to 278.99 hundred million kilowatt-hours, and cumulative electricity sales saw a 1.44% decline to 261.61 hundred million kilowatt-hours.
