Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower to raise 5.825 bn yuan for projects

Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower plans a non-public offering of A shares to specific subscribers for a maximum of 5.825 billion yuan, subject to regulatory approvals. The funds are earmarked for two major projects: the RM Hydropower Station (4.325 billion yuan) and the TB Hydropower Station (1.50 billion yuan). The total investment for these projects is approximately 78.4 billion yuan.

The RM Hydropower Station, with a planned installed capacity of 2.6 million kilowatts and a total investment of approximately 58.4 billion yuan, is slated for completion in 2035. The TB Hydropower Station, with an installed capacity of 1.4 million kilowatts and an investment of approximately 20 billion yuan, has seen all four units come into operation between June 2024 and January 2025. These projects align with national energy strategies to boost clean energy supply.
