Linyang Energy secures $54m smart meter contract with Landis&Gyr

Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co., Ltd. (Linyang Energy) announced the signing of a supply contract with Landis&Gyr Pty Ltd, an Australian subsidiary of Landis&Gyr, for smart meter products. The contract, primarily for single and three-phase smart meters, is valued at approximately $54 million. Landis&Gyr Pty Ltd, established in 2000, specializes in smart meters, gas and water meters, distribution automation, and AMI solutions.

The contract's total value represents approximately 5.69% of Linyang Energy's audited operating revenue for 2024. The company anticipates this agreement will positively impact its operating performance in 2025 and subsequent years. Delivery under the contract is scheduled over a five-year period.

Linyang Energy highlighted potential risks, including international trade and monetary policy changes, exchange rate fluctuations, and other market, legal, and political factors. The company also noted the possibility of the contract not being fully executed or terminated due to unforeseen policy, economic, natural disaster, or force majeure events.
