JAC Motors sees production, sales decline in august 2025

In August 2025, JAC Motors experienced a notable downturn in both production and sales compared to the same period last year. Total vehicle production decreased by 23.22% to 27,601 units, with year-to-date production down 9.78% to 247,785 units. SUV production saw the steepest decline, dropping 49.03% to 4,762 units, while truck production fell 4.18% to 10,572 units. Conversely, MPV production rose 29.86% to 1,496 units, and bus production surged by 310.74% to 994 units. New energy passenger vehicle production increased by 8.98% to 2,537 units for the month.

Sales figures mirrored the production trends. Total vehicle sales for August 2025 were down 13.23% year-on-year to 32,447 units, with year-to-date sales at 248,258 units, a 9.97% decrease. SUV sales declined 30.89% to 5,951 units, and truck sales fell 0.34% to 10,397 units. However, MPV sales increased by 109.91% to 2,647 units, and bus sales grew by 112.95% to 773 units. Sales of new energy passenger vehicles decreased by 27.15% to 2,208 units for the month.
