Daqin Railway sees August cargo volume rise, year-to-date declines

In August 2025, Daqin Railway's core operating asset, the Datong-Qinhuangdao line, transported 32.30 million tons of cargo, a 3.03% increase year-on-year. The average daily transport volume reached 1.0419 million tons. The line also reported an average of 67.7 heavy-haul trains operating daily, with 48.5 of those being 20,000-ton trains.

Despite the positive monthly performance, the cumulative cargo transport volume for the Datong-Qinhuangdao line from January to August 2025 amounted to 252.82 million tons, representing a 0.63% decrease compared to the same period last year.

Daqin Railway emphasizes that these operational figures are derived from internal statistics and are subject to variations. Such fluctuations can be influenced by various factors, including market conditions, equipment maintenance, and unloading capacity. The company's board guarantees the accuracy and truthfulness of this announcement.
