Baoshan Iron & Steel independent director resigns after six-year term

Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. announced today, September 8, 2025, that its board of directors received a written resignation report from Tian Yong, an independent director. Tian Yong resigned due to completing six consecutive years as an independent director, and also relinquished his other positions on the board. His resignation is effective from the date the report was submitted to the board.

The company's board of directors confirmed that Tian Yong's resignation will not cause the number of independent directors or board members to fall below the minimum required by relevant laws and regulations or the company's articles of association. Therefore, his departure will not affect the board's legal and compliant operation.
