Wanhua Chemical subsidiary resumes MDI production in Hungary

Wanhua Chemical Group Company Limited announced that its MDI production unit at subsidiary BorsodChem Zrt. in Hungary has completed its maintenance shutdown and resumed normal operations. The MDI unit, with a capacity of 400,000 tonnes per year, along with integrated and supporting facilities, had commenced its phased shutdown for maintenance on July 23, 2025.

This resumption follows an earlier announcement by the company on July 22, 2025, concerning the production suspension. The company also previously disclosed the resumption of its TDI unit (250,000 tonnes per year) on August 19, 2025.
