Shandong Iron and Steel to appoint Mao Zhanhong as new director

Shandong Iron and Steel Company Limited (SISCL) will hold its second extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2025 on September 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The meeting will take place at the company headquarters in Jinan City, Shandong Province, and the primary agenda includes the election of a new director to the eighth board of directors.

The proposed resolution involves the appointment of Mr. Mao Zhanhong as a director. Mr. Mao, born in October 1969, graduated from Fudan University in 1992 with a degree in applied chemistry. He is currently the deputy party secretary, director, and general manager of Shandong Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., and the party secretary of Shandong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. His term will last until the expiration of the current board's tenure.

The resolution for Mr. Mao's appointment has already been reviewed and approved by the fifteenth meeting of the eighth board of directors and is now submitted for shareholder approval. The meeting will utilize a combination of on-site and online voting for resolutions.
