Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway's chief engineer retires

Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway Company Limited announced today that its chief engineer, Mr. Hou Rigen, has resigned due to reaching the statutory retirement age. Following his resignation, Mr. Hou Rigen will no longer hold any positions within the company or its associated and controlled companies.

Mr. Hou Rigen’s resignation takes effect from the date it was submitted to the company's board of directors. The company confirmed that his departure will not impact its normal operations. As of the announcement date, Mr. Hou Rigen does not hold any shares in the company.
