Zhuzhou Smelter repays perpetual loan, 800m yuan remaining

Zhuzhou Smelter Group Co., Ltd. recently made a further repayment of 500 million yuan towards the principal and accrued interest of its perpetual entrusted loan. This repayment leaves a remaining balance of 800 million yuan on the loan, which the company will repay according to its capital requirements.

The perpetual entrusted loan, amounting to 1.5 billion yuan, was initially obtained from Hunan Nonferrous Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd. via Bank of Communications Changsha Xiewan Town Sub-branch, following approval at the company's second extraordinary general meeting in 2018. The loan has no fixed term and was used to supplement the company's working capital.

Prior to this latest repayment, Zhuzhou Smelter Group had already repaid 100 million yuan in principal and interest in March and April 2025. These previous repayments were announced on March 20, 2025, and April 9, 2025, respectively.
