PetroChina employee representative supervisor resigns due to work changes

Mr. Fang Qing, an employee representative supervisor of PetroChina Company Limited, has resigned from his position, effective August 29, 2025. His resignation, submitted via a written report to the company's supervisory committee, is attributed to work-related changes. Following his departure, Mr. Fang Qing will no longer hold any positions within PetroChina or its subsidiaries. His current term as supervisor was set to conclude in June 2026.

PetroChina's supervisory committee has confirmed that Mr. Fang Qing's resignation will not impact the minimum number of supervisors required by law or the mandated proportion of employee representative supervisors. His resignation became effective immediately upon the delivery of his report. Mr. Fang Qing affirmed that he has no unfulfilled public commitments, no disagreements with the company's board of directors or supervisory committee, and no other matters requiring shareholder attention. He has completed the necessary handover procedures in accordance with company regulations.
