Guangzhou Baiyun Airport subsidiary faces arbitration over advertising contract

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guangzhou Baiyun International Advertising Co., Ltd., has received a notice of arbitration from the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission. The arbitration was filed by Diyuan Dual Win Group Co., Ltd. concerning a dispute over the "2023 Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport T1 Terminal Advertising Operation Contract." This follows a prior arbitration award in July 2025 related to the same contract.

Diyuan Dual Win Group, the applicant, seeks three main remedies. Firstly, it requests that the advertising company refund a performance bond of CNY 20,333,808.31. Secondly, Diyuan Dual Win Group asks for the advertising company to bear its legal fees of CNY 500,000.00. Lastly, the applicant demands that the advertising company cover arbitration fees of CNY 147,053. The total amount involved in the dispute is CNY 20,980,900.

The arbitration is currently in the acceptance stage and has not yet proceeded to a hearing. As of the announcement date, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Co. states that this arbitration has not had a material impact on its profit or loss. The company will continue to monitor the case and fulfill its information disclosure obligations as required.
