Major Gansu Dunhuang Seed shareholder pledges significant stake

Gansu Dunhuang Seed Group Co., Ltd. announced that Jiangsu Rongzhuo Investment Co., Ltd., a shareholder holding 7.94% of the company's total share capital with 41,898,959 shares, has pledged a portion of its shares. On August 28, 2025, Jiangsu Rongzhuo entered into a stock pledge repurchase transaction involving 23,500,000 shares to supplement a subsidiary's working capital.

Following this recent pledge, Jiangsu Rongzhuo has now pledged a total of 23,500,000 shares of Gansu Dunhuang Seed. This represents 56.09% of Jiangsu Rongzhuo's total holdings and constitutes 4.45% of Gansu Dunhuang Seed's total share capital. The pledge began on August 27, 2025, and is set to mature on August 27, 2027, with Hua'an Securities Co., Ltd. acting as the pledgee.

The announcement clarifies that these pledged shares are not involved in any major asset restructuring performance compensation or other guarantee purposes. As of the disclosure date, there are no unpledged or frozen shares among Jiangsu Rongzhuo's holdings.
