COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers names new auditor, board, revises H1 2025 financials

COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers Co., Ltd. has approved the appointment of BDO China Shu Lun Pan Certified Public Accountants LLP as its auditor for the 2025 financial year, following the end of Tianzhi International Certified Public Accountants' tenure. The audit fee for 2025, covering the annual and internal control audits, is set at CNY 2.87 million, a 17% reduction from the previous year.

The company also announced the upcoming expiration of its eighth board of directors and the election of nine candidates for the ninth board. Concurrently, the company proposes to cancel the supervisory board and revise its articles of association, entrusting the board's audit committee with the supervisory board's responsibilities, pending shareholder approval.

Financially, for the first half of 2025, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers reported a total operating income of CNY 10.775 billion, a 44.05% increase year-on-year, and a net profit attributable to shareholders of CNY 825 million, up 13.08%. Total assets grew by 19.69% to CNY 41.807 billion, while net assets attributable to shareholders increased by 28.55% to CNY 16.174 billion.
