China Galaxy Securities plans interim dividend, changes accounting policy

China Galaxy Securities Co., Ltd. announced its 2025 interim profit distribution plan, proposing a cash dividend of RMB 0.125 per share (including tax) to A and H shareholders. The total cash dividend is projected to be RMB 1,366,800,282.00, representing 21.07% of the unaudited net profit attributable to listed company shareholders for the first half of 2025. This distribution, based on 10,934,402,256 shares, awaits shareholder approval.

The company also announced an accounting policy change, effective January 1, 2025, in response to Ministry of Finance guidance on standardized warehouse receipt transactions. This change involves treating frequent standardized warehouse receipt transactions as financial instruments and recognizing investment income rather than sales revenue. This retrospective adjustment will not impact China Galaxy Securities' total assets as of December 31, 2024, or total profit and net profit for the comparable period of the first half of 2025. The accounting policy change is not subject to shareholder approval.
