Bank of China completes 50bn yuan TLAC bond issuance

Bank of China has completed issuance of 50 billion yuan in total loss-absorbing capacity bonds with a 1.93% coupon rate.

The 4-year fixed-rate bonds were issued on August 15 and completed on August 19. They include a conditional redemption right at the end of the third year.

The proceeds will enhance the bank's total loss-absorbing capacity in line with regulatory requirements.
